At the 2018 ACA Annual Business Conference, a working group was formed to take a closer look at reports of predatory behavior occurring within the fellowship. For more information on our work and resources already developed, please see

One of the goals of this working group is to start a fellowship-wide discussion about the issue of predatory behavior and the effects it has on the fellowship as a whole, especially its newcomers. Another goal is the development of resources for members, groups, intergroups, and newcomers to address predatory behaviors within the ACA fellowship.

We are currently collaborating with the ACA Literature committee to put together a special issue of the ACA member quarterly ComLine on Addressing Predatory Behavior in ACA. If you would like to share your experience on this important topic with the fellowship, in writing, or in another artistic form, such as art, photography, or poetry, please send your submission to [email protected] by December 15, 2018. Our goal is to publish this ComLine special issue in February 2019.
