Literature Commitee Report
March 2013
Most of the time over the last month has gone in to preparing a report of our trip to the Signal Hill office.
e-BRB sales for February were 283 e-books sold. All tolled, there have been 1,442 e-BRBs sold since it went live in August.
Spanish BRB - Ines Z., Spanish Translation/Group Liaison Trusted Servant held a conference call on Sunday, March 3, 2013, with those who had responded to our e-mail requesting volunteers to finish the translation effort of the BRB. On the same day she also met with the North American Spanish Translation group to continue the effort to verify the translation given to us by the Spaniards.
The Meditation Book Project. Report to be given by MaryJo, Meditation Book Trusted Servant and ACA WSO Trustee. We only have 80% of the necessary meditations to make this book a reality. We need to have all remaining meditations within a month, so please step up your efforts. More submissions by ACAs would be greatly appreciated. For information, please contact [email protected].
The Serbian translation of ACA Is ... was rolled out in the shopping Cart
We are unofficially exploring how we might be able to reduce shipping costs to Australian groups.
The ComLine team is receiving submissions and laying them out. Publication should resume early Spring. Denise informed me that she was getting to get a copy of Publisher which hopefully will make the process easier. Crossed fingers. Trustee Leanne (FL) and Denise (VA) have agreed to layout the ComLine and Paul (IL) has agreed to be the Articles Editor. We need articles!
a-BRB - The publisher has asked for input on a variety of matters as they continue editing the audio.
Circulation of Conference Approved Draft. The drafts of Good Enough and Cross Talk were circulated, the comments received and responded to. The prototypes of the pamphlets are being sought for presentation at the ABC.
ACA Is... - Still in search for an Arabic translation.
Danish BRB - The final layout is done and order cost estimates have been communicated to the Danish Translation group. Waiting for payment to give the go-ahead for printing
The various cost saving ideas are being discussed by the Board including bundling are most popular titles and/or requiring a minimum shipment size, etc.
Draft of Public Information Pamphlet Literature was laid out and is ready for presentment to the 2013 ABC.
The Finns are waiting until there annual conference to decide how many book they wish to order. We informed them of our current stock of Finnish BRB and have asked fro costs estimates of 50 books.
