Young Adults and Teens Subcommittee

Our Purpose

We support young adults and teens in their recovery from the effects of growing up in an alcoholic or dysfunctional family. We welcome ACA teens, young adults, ACA members who are sponsoring ACA Teen meeting. We hope this can give them a chance to be their true self.

As the Member Services Committee Chair, I want to share an update regarding the Young Adults & Teens (YAT) Subcommittee. At this time, we’ve placed the subcommittee in inactive status. While we haven’t had the resources to continue its efforts recently, this decision allows us to focus more fully on supporting the active work of the Regions & Intergroups Subcommittee.

That said, we believe the YAT Subcommittee has tremendous potential—and we’re hopeful someone with a passion for supporting young people in ACA will step forward to serve as Chair. If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please reach out.

We’d love to see this important work continue with new leadership. For more information on what this role entails, email [email protected] or attend a Member Services Committee Business Meeting by teleconference at:
