Dear Board and Fellow ACA Members,
The glitches we were experiencing with the Quickbooks data were resolved since our last Teleconference. Here are the September financial statements for your information. Please bear in mind these are not audited statements and may be subject to revision at a later date. This is the most accurate information our external accounting services provider has provided at this time.
These financial statements are posted on the new ACA website at acawso.org. Click on Treasurer’s Report on the side menu.
ACA WSO ended the month with $478,771 in Total Assets. This is down from the previous month by $17,494. About $14,175 was a decrease in inventory assets as we are experiencing swift sales of books, literature and other merchandise. We also experienced a $1,510 decrease in cash that was due to lower than normal 7th Tradition Contributions. The remainder was in the receivables section of the Other Current Assets accounts.
In reviewing the Balance Sheet we can see that WSO had Total Cash Assets of $328,322 in account 1000 – Cash & Cash Equivalents. WSO Inventory Assets were $127,229. Combining the Cash and Inventory Assets for the period leaves WSO with Total Assets of $598,854.
WSO’s Total Liabilities and Equity of $598,853 at the end of the period.
Profit & Loss Statement
Looking at the P&L we can see sales for September were $69,998 compared to $94,456 the prior month. The Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) were $46,412, slightly higher over the prior period COGS of $50,096 due to increased sales which left WSO with a Gross Profit of $23,586 before deducting operating expenses.
Overall WSO expenses were $28,1581. This left us with a net deficit of $4,572 for the month.
For September WSO received $4,622 in 7th Tradition Contributions from members, groups, and intergroups. This was about half of what WSO normally receives in support from the fellowship
