Dear Board and Fellow ACA Members,
Here are the October financial statements for your information. Please bear in mind these are not audited statements and may be subject to revision at a later date. This is the most accurate information our external accounting services provider has provided at this time.
These financial statements are posted on the new ACA website at acawso.org. Click on Treasurer’s Report on the side menu.
ACA WSO ended the month with $609,433 in Total Assets. This is up from the previous month by $5,570. We saw an increase of our cash and cash equivalents of $16,840 for the month. This was due to continued brisk sales of our literature and other products which resulted in a decrease of inventory assets as more items were shipped out of the office.
In reviewing the Balance Sheet we can see that WSO had Total Cash Assets totaling $352,717 in account 1000 – Cash & Cash Equivalents. WSO Inventory Assets were $114,588. Combining the Cash and Inventory Assets with Fixed Assets for the period leaves WSO with Total Assets of $609,433.
WSO’s Total Liabilities and Equity of $609,433 at the end of the period.
Profit & Loss Statement
Looking at the P&L we can see sales for October were $95,390 compared to $69,374 the prior month. The Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) were $48,130, slightly higher over the prior period COGS of $44,205 due to increased sales which left WSO with a Gross Profit of $47,260 before deducting operating expenses.
Overall WSO expenses were $38,572. This left us with a net income of $8,688 for the month.
For October WSO received $13,195.18 in 7th Tradition Contributions from members, groups, and intergroups. This was higher than previous months primarily since deposits were made that included contributions made in latter September. This also explains why September 7 Tradition Contributions were unusually low.
