Hospitals and Institutions (H&I) report for
August 2014
Requests were received for assistance in setting up meetings in a hospital and for starting ACA Teen meetings.
Six orders for fellowship texts and workbooks were sent out in August, all to inmates around the country.
One inmate who was sent a text and a workbook also requested someone to correspond with. I was able to send the inmate’s information to a former board member who corresponds with numerous inmates to see if he had time to write to this inmate. He did write, and the inmate responded to him saying that he had received our books and the man’s letter and this was the first mail the inmate had received in three years!
These requests from inmates come to the Signal Hill office in California, and they are scanned and emailed to me for fulfillment through the H&I committee.
