DECEMBER, 2015 LITERATURE REPORT
CALL FOR LITERATURE COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS! WRITERS, EDITORS, PROOFREADERS, ILLUSTRATORS, GRAPHIC DESIGNERS, LAYOUT SPECIALISTS, AND PHOTOGRAPHERS WANTED!
We have a lot of exciting projects in the works – and are looking for volunteers to help us shape the future of ACA. Ongoing projects include the writing and production of the ComLine newsletter, which is currently being published quarterly; rolling out H&I Guidelines, laying out of numerous translated literature, along with an ongoing stream of international translation efforts.
Literature Offerings for Fellowship Review
Twelve Steps of Adult Children Steps Workbook literature update: Fellowship request that Steps Six through Twelve be expanded with additional questions and exercises. The Fellowship is enthusiastically submitting materials for Steps Six through Twelve. The period for Workbook Steps submissions is still open. Please submit suggestions for additional questions for Steps Six through Twelve of the Twelve Steps Workbook to [email protected].
ComLine
The 1st Quarter ComLine is complete, and can be downloaded for free at http://www.adultchildren.org/uploads/all/2016_1Q_comline.pdf. We are now accepting submissions for the 2nd Quarter 2016 issue; this covers April, May, and June.All submissions for the 2nd Quarter issue should be submitted by February 29, 2016.
Though primary focus for the 2nd Quarter issue is on Steps/Traditions 4, 5, and 6, all shares, stories, poems reflecting experience, strength, and hope are welcome! Be sure to include a copyright release form with your story or artwork. A copyright release form can be downloaded from our website at http://www.adultchildren.org/comline. Thank you to all who have submitted their stories of experience, strength, and hope for this and future ComLine issues.
The Laundry Lists Workbook literature update: The Laundry Lists Workbook was revised slightly and reordered, and should be in stock by the end of January.
To The Beginner In All of Us literature update: This trifold should be available in a few weeks and will be added to the Literature Set and to the New Meeting Packet.
Best Practices Offerings for Fellowship Review
The Downers Grove Noontime Meeting (IL 193) offers Ready, Set, GO!! as an orientation/introduction for those who wish to take the ACA Twelve Steps over a four-week period. The WSO is not responsible for any copyright infringement, if any, exercised by the offering group/authors.
The fellowship is invited to use “as is”. The Literature Committee encourages comments to forward or enhance this project, consistent with the objective of bringing the message of ACA recovery. Sales for November were 86 a-books sold. All tolled, we have sold 884 a-BRBs.

Sales for November were 86 e-books sold. All tolled, we have sold 8,967 e-BRBs.
Translations
All trifolds and booklets offered for sale in the shopping cart have been translated into the Danish, Spanish, Finnish, and Russian.
Danish, Spanish, Finnish, and Russian are in layout. Greek, Latvian, Japanese and German are to follow. Literature offered for free on our site is being translated into Latvian, Russian, Spanish, Greek, and Turkish.
We are focusing almost all of our energy on outside US literature fulfillment solutions.
Miscellaneous
- Nearly 500 emails were traded both domestically and abroad. Emails continue to cover the scope of literature offerings, suggestions for future publications, translations, printing / reprinting of new and existing products, digital offerings, and the international distribution project.
- As existing stock of literature is exhausted, where applicable:The H&I Guidelines are almost ready for posting as a free download on our site. The H&I Guidelines will also be included in the New Meeting Packet and offered for sale separately as a booklet. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this publication.
- Updates reflecting the 11th Tradition revision have been implemented in the next printings of the BRB and WB
- Updates to include attribution to AA for use and adaptation permission of the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions have been implemented in the next printings of the BRB and WB, and are being incrementally implemented in the free literature offered on the web site
- Updates to show the Laundry List, The Other Laundry List, and their flip sides are being implemented. Translators have been contacted regarding this work, and the English versions of the Laundry Lists are posted as free literature on the web site.
- It’s been nearly 10 years since the BRB was first published. We plan to offer a special limited edition, 10th Anniversary issue in 2016.
Hospitals & Institutions Guidelines
- The H&I Guidelines are almost ready for posting as a free download on our site. The H&I Guidelines will also be included in the New Meeting Packet and offered for sale separately as a booklet. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this publication.
BRB ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL ISSUE
- It’s been nearly 10 years since the BRB was first published. We plan to offer a special limited edition, 10th Anniversary issue in 2016.
