Resource Spotlight

We are excited to announce this new WSO subcommittee, formed to support new and emerging meetings in countries outside of North America.  We are starting with members volunteering from 3 continents, 5 time zones and speaking over 6 languages.  Our first global conference was held on May 29th.

We are currently working with Bangladesh, India and Israel to provide meeting and translation support.  We're currently looking for translators for Bengali, Hebrew, Hindi and Punjabi, both written and audio.  If you're available for this, please contact us.  As ACA continues to grow, Global Members will need volunteers from a variety of backgrounds and language skills.

We would love to hear from you if need support and/or can provide support.  If supporting new and emerging ACA meetings, outside of North America, calls your heart and your recovery, please contact us at [email protected].  We will also be posting updates to the service website on the Global Members Subcommittee page.

About Adult Children of Alcoholics

ACA is a worldwide 12 Step / 12 Tradition program of recovery dedicated to people who were raised in dysfunctional families. ACA does not seek to assign blame to parents or caretakers, but we seek to understand the reality of how family dysfunctions affected us as children and still affects our adult behavior today.

Family dysfunction can include alcoholism, abandonment, neglect, or any type of addiction or abuse. ACA is synonymous with ACoA; Adult Children Anonymous; & Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families.
