I also attended the International ACADay in The Netherlands, by flying in the day before and working with the volunteers to set up the venue. The program was a great combination of workshops, international meetings in Dutch, English, and Polish. There was between 50-65 attendees. There were representatives from; Denmark, Greece, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom and Hungary. What really stressed the fact of me being there was that I met 6 people of whom I’d been in contact with by Skype and/or email. Having the WSO/EC present at these events is important to give the European members validation that they are a part of a global fellowship and the we, the EC, are there to support their growth.

We had our first plan and budget ever, approved at the Board meeting at the ABC in Florida, which is for building the European ACA service structure. As part of this plan we are also now in the process of designing our own web site for the EC and European Fellowship. We are still working on getting European literature printed locally in the respective countries, and have sent out our first Newsletter, a little more than a week ago. Please see the repository.

Attending an amazing ABC/AWC it was apparent that very few delegates knew what their role was so we call out to the European Fellowship to get people to establish contact with the newly formed Delegate Training Committee.

Our fellowship in Europe continues to grow and we continue to work at gathering information in order to present an accurate picture to the WSO and the fellowship so that we know how to provide better service within the existing structure.

Respectfully submitted
