Magnificent Minsk – Report coming soon on their ACA Summer Fest

European Committee member Jeffrey F. in Prague spoke last week on the topic of “The Inner Child, The Loving Inner Parent, and The Critical Inner Parent” at the Minsk ACA Summer Fest which was held on 29 July in Belarus. The event and Minsk was fantastic and a report will be written for the next edition of the ComLine. The European Committee is also pleased to announce that one of the co-organizers of this event, Kira, has agreed to become the Country Representative for Belarus.

This month the MPS requests I have answered  has mostly been about  members abuse int he meetings , cross-talking, or bulling other members.

The WSO cannot police the groups and we can only apply the traditions which has to be taken up at a group conscious  meeting locally. Or our experiences on a personal basis.

The main issue is that the abusive members do not come to the business-/group-conscious meetings. And when members claim they are a member no one can tell them that they are not (Tradition Three)

Also chapter Ten about service in the BRB is somewhat vague when it comes to addressing these issues. And this is not me speaking but members wondering where they can find a solutions to heal the meetings and the hurt caused by other abusive members.

I am following up and these requests by trying to talk to members  by a case to case basis to make sure they get heard.

Also more fellowships are asking for support to build solid service structures. And we have to keep in mind that these are fellowships who has been in existence for decades without translated literature. Which goes back to fact that the English literature does not speak to the inner child but to your intellectual mind when English is not the first language
