DCOC Report for March 2018

Report covering the month of March 2018

The DCOC collaborates with the WSO General Manager, Tammie Garcia.  We meet weekly, when possible.

Committee members: Bill D., David McB., Jim B., Mary Jo L., and Pat H.

Since the last teleconference we worked on the following:

1. Inventory Issues:
a. We continue to work on inventory re-order levels. There have been some out of stock issues that we want to assure the Fellowship we are actively working to resolve.
b. We continue to prepare to start selling through Amazon Canada and other Amazon outlets.

2. New Hires: We have two new full-time employees – Jose Vazquez as a Warehouse Associate and Keara Schneider as an Office/Warehouse Associate. We welcome them to the WSO family.

3. Forklift: the Board authorized purchase of a Noblelift walk behind Reach Truck that will now enable the staff to move pallets of books onto the pallet racks in the warehouse.
