A new beginners’ introductory text, intended for but not limited to ACA newcomers, is expected to be completed in late 2019 or early 2020.

The working title is, “Getting Started: An Introduction to ACA Recovery.” The book will be 200 pages or less, and explain in plain language the most essential ideas that an adult child must understand in early recovery, so that they will stay in the program for long-term healing.

The book will be significantly shorter than the Big Red Book, and it is intended to assist sponsors and ease the task of translating ACA ideas into non-English languages.
