WSO is in search of a self-directed and experienced part-time Webmaster/Web Developer/IT Specialist to manage our websites and other technologies.  The successful candidate will be able to redesign and maintain our websites, add functionality enhancements to the website and the user interface for our Meeting List Database, as well as assist the WSO Board of Trustees with other technology integrations.

Minimum Requirements/Skills (3-5 years of experience)

Please address your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities in the following:

  • Content Management System - WordPress (including Divi and other plugins)
  • PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, HTML, CSS, MySQL, APIs
  • phpMyAdmin, C-panel, and other server maintenance 
  • Knowledge of and ability to maintain Web Content Accessibility Standards (WCAG, W3C)
  • Hosted server management (GoDaddy, SiteGround, etc)

Website Duties:

  • Redesign of current websites, designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • Setting up and maintaining CDN
  • Maintaining and adding functionality of web application and user interfaces for proprietary, custom Meeting List Database
  • Form integration (Zoho Forms, Gravity Forms, etc)
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability of websites
  • Troubleshooting website performance issues
  • MailChimp integration with sites
  • Maintain backups for each site
  • Search Engine Optimization

Other Possible Technologies:

  • GSuite administration
  • Connecting Meeting List Database with email system
  • Online file storage systems (Dropbox, GSuite, OneDrive, etc)
  • Some graphics design
