Balance Sheet

In reviewing the Balance Sheet, we can see ACA WSO ended the month with $960,520 Total Assets. The previous month was $973,764 resulting in a decrease of $13,2k from the prior month.
Our Total Cash and Cash Equivalents (Account 1000) decreased by $32.3k. Prepaid Expenses increased by $32.3k. Inventory Assets (Account 1400) showed a net decrease of $8.5k, due to the normal sell-through of books.
WSO’s Total Liabilities & Equity was $960,520 at the end of the period. This is a decrease of $13.2k from the previous month. The Net Income for the 3-month period is $115,976.
Note that the Equity Section includes the International Literature Scholarship fund, which is a Restricted Fund. The month of March shows a balance of $14,975. The Unrestricted Net Assets shows a balance of $720,422.
Profit & Loss Statement – Current and Previous Month

Looking at the P&L we can see Total Income for the month was $219.2k, showing an increase of $16.0k from the prior month. Total Income includes Shopify Sales, Amazon Sales, International Sales, Digital Books Revenue, and 7th Tradition Contributions. Shopify sales were $62.7k, showing a decrease of $1.3k from the prior month. Amazon sales were $79.8k, showing an increase of $9.3k from the prior month. International sales added $16.4k to income this month. Contributions from 7th Tradition will be addressed below.
The combined Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) was $100.4k, which was an increase over the prior month of $16.7k. This left WSO with a Gross Profit of $118.8k before operating expenses. WSO Expenses on the P&L include payroll, overhead and operating expenses. Overall WSO Total Expenses were $85.0k this month, which was greater than the prior month by $10.0k.
After deducting expenses from the Gross Profit, WSO was left with Net Income of $33,774 for the month of March.
Profit & Loss – Actual to Budget – Year to Date

This report shows us how we are performing year-to-date compared to the approved YTD budget.
Our Total Income of $629.5k exceeded the Budgeted amount of $544.1k, by $85.3k or about 15.7% greater than what we budgeted. Shopify sales were $195.7k and 14.8% higher than the budget amount of $170.4k. Amazon sales were $238.0k and 6.3% less than the budget amount of $254.1k. The 7th Tradition Contributions came in at $166.6k, and 62% higher than what was budgeted.
Our expenses for the 3-month period year-to-date were $3.1k more than budgeted.
We had an Actual YTD Net Income of $115,796 compared with the Budgeted YTD Net Income of $20,486.

7th Tradition Contribution Report
CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE 7TH TRADITION CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THIS MONTH
WSO received $55,115 in 7th Tradition Contributions for the month from members, groups, intergroups and regions. Contributions decreased $11,118 from the prior month.
There were 24 contributions to the Unrestricted Fund that were $500 or more, totaling $15,280. We received 29 contributions totaling $1,258 for the International Literature Scholarship Fund.

A huge thank you to those who contributed to help ACA continue to meet the growing need of the program throughout the world.
WSO has created an electronic 7th Tradition basket using Venmo @acawso for contributions from inside the US, and can also accept contributions worldwide through PayPal at [email protected]. We can also accept Zelle transfers by contacting either [email protected] or [email protected] for the details. Please let your fellow travelers know ACA depends on contributions to fund the rapidly expanding fellowship services’ needs.
