Literature Committee Report for October 2017

(September 2017 Activity)

CALL FOR LITERATURE COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS! TRANSLATORS, WRITERS, EDITORS, PROOFREADERS, ILLUSTRATORS, GRAPHIC DESIGNERS, LAYOUT SPECIALISTS, AND PHOTOGRAPHERS WANTED!

We have a lot of exciting projects in the works, and are grateful for the enthusiastic teams of volunteers who are helping shape the future of ACA.

Literature Development Subcommittee

Our second volunteer organizing call was held on Saturday, September 30. During this meeting, we reviewed vision and project priorities, and identified project teams. Tamara P. used screen-sharing to demonstrate how the online collaboration tool Trello can be used to organize projects into boards, showing how to see:

  • projects in progress
  • who is assigned to a particular project
  • where the project is in the development process

We also discussed a tentative start-up process for the project teams so that the groups' members will be prepared and know what to expect when holding the first development meetings for their projects. To hear the recording of this meeting, visit https://fccdl.in/5hti3rPy9.
